Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-27-21  Casr: Is 17...Qf6 a mild mistake, or was the line foreseen and persued on account of the slight advantage it signifies? I mean slight in their level: i'd have been instantly obliterated; eviscerated dead: but a whisper in the cheeks of a portly man. Kisses!

An Englishman: Good Evening: Carlsen loves sacrificing exactly one pawn per game, but this does not look sound. However, the silicon monsters might disagree.
Jan-28-21  fabelhaft: Carlsen has 4 wins and 30 draws against Caruana since his latest loss back in 2015.

perfidious: The year 2015? Oh, yes: that was preceded by Caruana's dismantling of the field at St Louis the previous summer and his 'inevitable' ascent to the top spot.

Still waiting, more than six years on.....

Jan-28-21  Isolani: Carlsen, while playing this game, made the ABC News photos (16 sec mark) as he ponders his third move. Caruana can be seen in the background as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGw...
