offramp: The only thing that comes to mind is 46.Re5 g5+.

It's not a problem, but with 17 other boards he might have missed something.

It was said by Hermann Göring.

Sep-15-21  fabelhaft: "Whenever I hear the word zwischenzug I reach for my Alekhine's gun" HG
Dec-08-21  Stolzenberg: 46. Rb1 threatening 47. Rb6+, e.g. 46. ... g5+ 47. fxg5 hxg5+ 48. Kxg5 Rxa5+ 49. Kf6 winning as per endgame database.
Dec-16-21  Stolzenberg: 4 other possibilities after 46. Rb1:
46. ... Ke7 47. Rb6 g5+ 48. fxg5 hxg5+ 49. Kxg5 Rxa5+ 50. Kg6 winning

or 46. ... Kc5 47. Rb6 g5+ 48. fxg5 hxg5+ 49. Kxg5 Rxa5 50. Re6 or 50. Rf6 both winning

or 46. ... Rxa5 47. Rb6+ Ke7 48. Rxg6 Rxa3 49. Rxh6 winning easily

or 46. ... Rxa5 47. Rb6+ Ke7 48. Rxg6 h5 49. Rg5 Rxa3 50. Kxh5 winning easily too.

A simultaneous game of course, but 46. Rb1 was not too hard to discover, I dare to say.
