fredthebear: Fake Z troll shares intelligent information with a definition from the dicktionary it likely borrowed from perfidouche. This seems to be the second useful post that fake Z troll has made in 282 tries since opening this particular sock puppet account on June 29, 2022 (a rough average of 11 trash posts per day). More educational posts to follow no doubt.

Perhaps Z free or die will define "epaulet" for us next. In J van Foreest vs Dominguez Perez, 2022 the Black king gets sandwiched by its own on the h-file, an unusual position w/a bishop blunder finish.

Here's a speed video of a back rank epaulette mate in the Italian game that makes use of a queen sacrifice and a rook lift: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?... Normally, it seems, the winning queen gives the final check.

Here is Mato's four-minute video of Paul Morphy's famous Epaulet Mate by the winning queen: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?... When many players think Epaulet Mate, they think of this game.
