Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-03-23  ET3 Hefley: 14. ♘e4? is a strange looking move as 14. ♗d2 seems pretty obvious. Black accurately punishes White and earns a strong Kingside spatial advantage and centralized pawns for full compensation for the pawn.
Jan-04-23  ET3 Hefley: After taking a day and looking at it more, I still agree that 14. ♗d2 is a critical improvement but I believe I have at least found what White may have been afraid of.

After 14. ♗d2 ...♖ab8 15. 0-0-0 ...♘b6 16. ♖de1 ...♖fc8 and I think White was afraid of 17. ♖xe7? ...♘c4! and now Black has turned the tables

Instead White can simply play 17. ♘d1 with 18. c3 coming and White is completely safe and can start working on the Queenside 3v1 pawns to win it

Jan-04-23  ET3 Hefley: One such continuation showing why 14. ♗d2 ...♖ab8 15. 0-0-0 ...♘b6 16. ♖de1 ...♖fc8 17. ♖xe7? ...♘c4 favors Black. If White continues with 18. ♖xa7?? ...♘xd2 19. ♔xd2 ...♖xb2 and Black is already winning.

If White tries 20. ♖a3 ...♗h6+ and White wont be able to defend the Knight and c-pawn. Very insightful position on Black's Kingside Fianchetto + open b-file / c-file pressure compensating for multiple pawns. Useful for Dragon / Pirc / Benko Gambit players (although that is usually a-file / b-file) to see how fine of a line defending these positions can be for White
