Sep-11-23  Brenin: 25 ... Qh2+ 26 Kxg5 (26 Qh3 Qxh3+ 27 Kxg5 28 Qh6+ Kf5 29 Qf6 mate) h6+ 27 Kf5 R(or Q)e5 mate.
Sep-11-23  King.Arthur.Brazil: Mondays: 25...Qh2+ 26. Kxg5 Re5+ 27. Rf5 f6#. Of course, W can delay a little: 26. Qh3 Qxh3+ 27. Kxg5 Re5+ 28. Kf4 Re4+ 29. Kf5 g6+ 30. Kg5 h6+ 31. Kf6 Qh4+ 32. g5 Qxg5# or 29. Kg5 h6+ 30. Kf5 g6+ 31. Kf6 Qh4+ 32. g5 Qxg5#.

Sep-11-23  mel gibson: That's easy peasy.
Sep-11-23  Halldor: Well, well, well. The bravest king position in recent memory…

26. Qh3 Qxh3+ 27. Kxg5 Qh6+! 28. Kf5 Be4#

It's much shorter! Be4# is possible because the Queen is no longer controlling that diagonal.

Sep-12-23  Mayankk: White King has been stripped of its pawn cover and mate seems immediate. Black can force matters by 25 ... Qh2+ 26 Kxg5 ( 26 Qh3 loses the Queen) Re5+ 27 Rf5 f6#.

It is always a satisfactory feeling when our humble pawn delivers the final blow.
