  Troller: This is sort of an obscure game. I wonder if there ever was a tournament in Birkum in 1997; furthermore, would White rather be Martin Koch Clausen (https://ratings.fide.com/profile/14...) than a swiss player with the same name? It seems he did not play outside of Copenhagen in 1997 though...

There are a couple of "Franz Handler" on the FIDE site, I cannot find a Frank Handle anywhere.

Here yes but Megabase has about six games with the exact same moves and I have seen this position - white to play.

In a few tactical solving pages including one dated from the early 60's. I had better make that the early 1960's because the position can be reached by a series of fairly straight forward understandable moves in a very common opening. I'd not be surprised if it cropped up in the 1860's.
