Yuridmi: A dead draw after 40 moves. Where Black managed to give away the game after that isn't clear. But that's Carlsen. Drawn position, not much material left ... and then a swindle

I'm fairly certain 48...Ke7 is the losing move. Right idea at the wrong time. I think the drawing line would be 48...Bb3 49.h5 gxh5 50.gxh5 Ke7. Now if 51.h6 Kf6! maintains the draw.

Or 48...Bb3 49.g5 Ba2 50.h5 gxh5 51.Nxh5 Ke7 seems to do the trick (also 51...Bb1 appears to hold).

jnpope: According to Stockfish 11's overnight analysis, 47...Ke7 only loses equality, from =0.00 to -1.15, and at 80+ ply(!) it appears the game is still drawable with 54...Bd3 being the fatal mistake.

Despite the open position and Black possessing B v N, it is he who must play to hold the draw.

Jul-06-24  cehertan: Beautiful technical combination at the end. Black could hold with perfect play, but good luck against the best who has ever done it.
