<Valquiria Rocha> from Angola

Fide Card: http://ratings.fide.com/card.phtml?...

Photo: http://www.chessbase.com/news/2006/...

Dec-21-08  jon01: Wow, I would definitely resign to her.
Mar-16-10  JohnstownChess: jon01, i am guessing you are saying you would resign to her because she is attractive...still..why would you "resign" to someone because they are attractive.
Mar-29-13  N0B0DY: ELO rating van 85-50-95
Feb-17-14  MarkFinan: Wow! I want to play her!? 😃
Feb-17-14  John Abraham: Don't you think this photo is kind of inappropriate for a chess website? Also it's from 2006, so she would have been only 16 years old.
Feb-17-14  MarkFinan: Are you asking me if I think this picture is inappropriate for this site? I don't think so but then again I don't own the site. And seeing that I see no date on the photograph, not that im doubting you, how would you know unless you'd had a good look at this 23-24 yr old woman yourself? LOL 😃
Feb-17-14  John Abraham: Look at the first post on this page by <myschkin>. The photo is the second link he provides. The URL in the photo link clearly gives the year it was taken - 2006. (And it says where - Turin, Italy - which was the site of the 2006 Chess Olympiad).

Anyway it seems a little funny to post such a provocative pic of a (then) 16 year old girl. And to do it especially on a chess site.

Feb-18-14  MarkFinan: JA... I think you're being a bit prudish mate. She's fully clothed. I really wouldn't have known her age unless you'd pointed it out to me (23-24 Btw) so I'm *guessing* that you looked at this photograph, liked what you saw and decided to pry a little more? Otherwise how would you know what some 1800-2000 rated player was aged at the time? I didn't look at the link here, nor did I read the previous kibitzing, someone posted a link for me on an entirely different matter yesterday and that's when I saw her picture and thought 'Wow! She's beautiful!' I don't blame you for looking at the link, and unless you're trying to say im wrong for finding her attractive then you should really be taking it up with the admins here because I don't think there's a thing wrong with that picture. 😃
Mar-11-16  Rookiepawn: <Anyway it seems a little funny to post such a provocative...>

Provocative? You can see women dressed like that in any civilized city's street. Would you put a burka on her?
