Tabanus: But certainly not Anselm Wagner.
Aug-07-17  Eagle41257: Of course, it's a different player
Aug-08-17  Nosnibor: This player is from Czechoslovakia now the Czech Republic. He was completely outclassed at Reggio Emilia finishing last with one point from 11 games. This placed him 2.5 points behind eleventh place Jagodzinski who had the rare distinction of beating the tournament winner Parma.

Tabanus: Chess-Results 1964-67 p. 226 with ref. to Magyar Sakkelet 1966 p. 22 has "Richard Wagner". (But not Richard Wagner.)
Aug-29-17  hemy: "Olomouc chess player Wagner participated in a tournament based on a partnership between the towns of Olomouc and Reggio Emilia. There are not enough routines for similar tournaments. In social contact with representatives of self-government and institutions, as well as in radio and television shows, he represented us dignified, thanks to his perfect knowledge of Italian."
