Oct-26-21 Alan McGowan: A correction needs to be made in regards to this player and Rudof Bacher

Between them, three games are shown, all from the 20th Trebitsch Memorial 1937/38.

Two are attributed to Rudolf Bacher and one to L. Bacher.

The Wiener Schachzeitung 1938, p44, shows the game H. Adam-L. Bacher, and page 81 has an extract from L. Bacher-E. Glass.

The Lachaga publication on the history of the Trebitsch tournaments shows R. Bacher in the crosstable and in the text says that Rudolf Bacher soon afterwards went to Prague to prepare to emigrate to the USA (Rudolf Bacher - der bald danach nach Prag ging, um nach USA auszuwandern).

Lachaga was assisted with his publications by Albert Becker, who played in the 1937/38 tournament and would be expected to know the names of his fellow Viennese players. Therefore, it seems likely that Rudolf Bacher is correct, though it would be good if further information could be found.
