[what is this?]He played at the World Youth Championship (2012) in the U-16 category and again played for Canada in the 2010 WYCC. He finished in a tie for 3rd-7th (before tiebreaks) at the U18 Canadian youth chess championships in 2013. He scored 5/9 at the 2014 U-18 North American youth chess championship. At the 2015 Canadian Universities' (team pairings) chess championship, his score of 4/5 was sufficient for a share of 3rd-6th overall in the individual rankings.
