FIDE Master Tanraj Sohal represented Canada at the World Youth Championship (2012) in the U-16 category and also played at the 2010 WYCC. He scored 5/9 at the New York NAYCC tournament in 2014 and 6/9 at the North American junior chess championship in 2015.
