FSR: Keenan says he killed his stepfather in self-defense:

<A Mobile man charged with the murder of his stepfather is out of jail, and has pleaded not guilty to the murder.

22-year-old Keenan Olson was booked into metro jail Thursday afternoon

Olson's attorney Dennis Knizley said his client was acting in self-defense. Knizley told Local 15 News Friday afternoon that John D'Aversa had reached for a gun during a fight with his client inside his home on St. Jude Circle.

...

D'Aversa's family refutes the self-defense claim. Tina D'Aversa, John D'Aversa's daughter, said Keenan Olson has simply hired a high-powered lawyer in what she calls "a cold-blooded murder".

D'Aversa said it isn't possible for a 70-year-old man, weighing just over 160 pounds, who just recently suffered a heart attack.

Court records show Keenan Olson weighing over 200 pounds.>

FSR: <(MOBILE, Ala.) - The 92-year-old mother of a murder victim in Mobile said she was at her son's home when he was murdered by his soon-to-be ex-wife and her son. Adina D'Aversa's 70-year-old son John was found shot to death in his home on Saint Jude Circle earlier this week.

His stepson, Keenan Olson, is now charged with his murder.

The family told LOCAL 15 News D'Aversa's estranged wife cleaned out their bank account before he died. John D'Aversa had been recovering from a heart attack he suffered just weeks earlier.

D'Aversa's family said John had separated from Carolyn for taking the money, and even got police involved in the incident. They said they know Olson and her son had come back to the house to kill him.>

Dec-02-11  knighterrant999: Keenan's Gambit got refuted.
Mar-20-13  BlkSabb: What happened with this? Was he convicted?
Jul-25-23  XCRImEBz: The mother walked, he took a plea for a manslaughter charge. Wife ended up getting everything she wanted and more. Keenan loves his mommy so much he introduced her to her now husband that was in prison for trying to kill his ex girl friend, his 4 month old baby , 16 yr old girl and two dogs. Carolyn Olson May is her new name and Keenan prefers to go by Christopher Olson now and is married with two children.

They all have established a very comfortable lifestyle thanks to Mr. D'Aversa's hard work his whole life and taken in the cruelest way possible by those he cared and provided for May he rest in Peace.

May karma find them all soon

Feb-10-25  BattleAngel: An update on Keenan:
He’s been arrested twice for domestic violence since November 2024. He has left his current wife and has taken another wife (while still being married)

He’s an abuser and yes…. Karma will find them… him and his disgusting mommy

MissScarlett: That link does not work. Are mugshots subject to copyright?
Feb-10-25  stone free or die: I don't see Donald suing anyone about his (nor did the govt sue him for his own publication of it).

Generally, unless there's a specific state or federal law about it (and there rarely is), mugshots are PD.
