Dr. Horace Richardson, Harvard, Class of 1852. He was the President of the Boston Chess Club and later went on to become President of the Massachussetts Chess Association.

  GrahamClayton: This game was possibly played when Morphy attended a banquet at the Boston Chess Club in June 1859, of which Richardson was the President. Richardson later went on to become President of the Massachussetts Chess Association in the late 1880's.
