In 2007, he won the Kitchener Club Championship with a perfect 5/5. In 2008, he tied for 1st-3rd with Paul Becker and Hans Rudolf Jung in the Twin Cities Championship of Kitchener-Waterloo and tied 1st-2nd with Michael Humphreys in a Kitchener tournament in February.
