Results: Brooklyn CC Championship 1922 (3rd), Manhattan CC Championship 1922 (5th), 1923 (4th), 1924 (6th), 1925 (6th). In 1924, he was only player to defeat Capablanca at the Rapid Transit tournament (10 sec/m) before the famous 1924 New York tournament. Defeated Janowski at a simul (1 of 32) in April 1920 while still a student at Boys High in Brooklyn. Drew with 9 year old Samuel Reshevsky at a simul (1 of 20) later that same year on November 25.
