  Penguincw: Congrats to Angel Espinosa Aranda for tying 1st in the Madrid Championship with 5.5/7. I believe he was the highest rated player entering the tournament, and was one of 5 IMs there.

He did tie for first with IM Pulvett Marin (not sure who takes tiebreaks).
