FSR: Andrew Soltis in his book <Confessions of a Chess Grandmaster> has a game that he won in 1964 against Bill Fredericks of Jamaica Chess Club (I think "Jamaica" is in Queens, New York). Could well be the same Fredericks as this one.

Sure is; JFK Airport is located on bonny Jamaica Bay.

HeMateMe: ...and, in an odd parallel, there used to be as much marijuana sold in Jamaica, Queens, as in Jamiaca, carribean!
May-22-15  zanzibar: <FSR> Do you have the Soltis book with the Fredericks game still?

Could I ask you to please submit/post it?

Soltis talks about it in an interview (without giving the year) and I'd like to see if it's the same.

May-22-15  zanzibar: See Horowitz's article and mention of English Opening:
