Looking in the Compton directory (for 1954), we find:

<Schrader Edw F artist h 1801 Kay .. NEwmrk 2-0108> and

<Schrader Edw F Jr USN r 1801 Kay .. NEwmrk 2-0108> (USN = US Navy) (there is also Howard Schrader wkr, and Richard Schrader)

Son of Edward Friederich Schrader 1877 – 1966, Brother of Howard Francis Schrader 1907 – 1955 and Richard H K Schrader 1914 – bef 1920. All four (possibly exceot Richard) living together in Compton in 1954.

Edward Jr. was 44 years old in 1955, and Edward Sr. 78 years old.
