In the 1909 Scottish Championship he shared 4th/5th with 7/11.

He later moved to England and after choosing to use his Hebrew name he was known as Schachno Peisach Schotz.

He was active in Middlesex Country and Ealing Chess Club events, with reports showiing him as Dr S.P. Schotz.
