In 2007 a terrible news from the North reached Pisa: The small village Suurhusen in East Frisia has the most slanted tower in The World - officially confirmed by the Guinness Book of Records. With a tilt angle of <5.07 degrees>, the building beats the Campanile of Pisa to lengths: the tower only leans 3.97 degrees in the Tuscan town.
