<Larvik Schakklub mottok forleden fra frk. Olga Hassel 2 udmerkede lærebøger i scak, nemlig "Schachmeisterpartien von I. Mieses" og "The Chess. Player's Manual by C. H. D. Gossip". Bøkerne hadde tilhøret hendes avdøde bror, Hans Hassel, som var en ivrig dyrker av det kongelige spil.> (Jarlsberg og Larviks Amtstidende, 3 Nov. 1928, p. 3)

Transl.: Larvik Chess Club received the other day two chess books from Miss Olga Hassel, Schachmeisterpartien von I. Mieses and The Chess Player's Manual by C. H. D. Gossip. The books had belonged to her late brother Hans Hassel, who was an ardent fan of the royal game.
