Jul-08-25  WilhelmThe2nd: Apparently an alternative spelling for <von Beer> is <von Behr>. A good candidate for the Baron von Beer who played Gustav Neumann is <Felix von Behr> from Bandelin in Pomerania who was a member of the Order of Saint John and who had been made a Baron in 1865:

jnpope: I would imagine the set of men named "von Beer"/"von Behr" who were from Pomerania, a member of the Order of Saint John, and made into a Baron would contain a single member.
