jnpope: Isaac T. Hart participated in the tournament held in December 1858 according to the New Orleans <Sunday Delta>, 1859.02.27, p6.

That middle initial seems to make our Hart one Isaac Tobias Hart Jr., born on January 6, 1834, in Kingston, Jamaica (his father is listed as an "Enslaver" on shipping documents, born in 1787 in England).
