Oct-24-06  mack: Any relation to Kevin?
Oct-24-06  Resignation Trap: <mack> Yes, they are brothers.
Oct-24-06  mack: Any more info on the lad?
Oct-24-06  Resignation Trap: Grant has a FIDE rating of 2335 and is a FIDE master. Not as strong or as well-known as Kevin, but not to be taken for granted, either.

About 60 years ago, Daniel Yanofsky sometimes had games listed under his name that were actually played by his younger brother, Harry Yanofsky. Harry was also a player of note.

IMlday: Grant moved from Montreal to Toronto for many years and then to Newfoundland. He was/is a very solid positional player. For some weird chaos theory reason he always had White against me when we met in tournaments. He would play hypermodern Reti/English systems and I would try to freak him. Here's a Great Snake not in the CG database:
