FSR: Robertson Sillars wrote the "Reader's Showcase" column for Chess Life & Review magazine for years. I believe MCO-11 had one line of analysis attributed to him. As I recall, he died prematurely, maybe before age 50. His children Kate and Tony (an expert, whom I knew and played, but haven't seen for decades) both played chess.

Googling about, it seems that Tony became a master, moved to Massachusetts, and became a shrink. https://www.uschess.org/msa/MbrDtlM... https://players.chessbase.com/en/pl... https://theorg.com/org/health-new-e... Good for him. When I knew him, he had a bachelor's degree in psychology but was working as a waiter.

perfidious: Used to see Kate Gasser's name on occasion when I played in Massachusetts, but she seldom played, though competently when she did (~1900 strength). Never met Tony.
