Feb-24-09  WhiteRook48: so this is <technical draw>'s other forum? Two forums?!
Feb-24-09  technical draw: <WR48> Yes, I get 2 forums for the price of one. Same offer for all cute babies.
Feb-27-09  technical draw: Give me a couple of billion, I'll spend it all on luxuries and then the US government will bail me out. Is this a great country or what?
Feb-27-09  Jim Bartle: Speaking of bailouts and the US giving out money, anybody remember the Peter Sellers movie "The Mouse That Roared"?
Feb-27-09  technical draw: <JB> You mean this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYMu...

no.

Feb-27-09  Jim Bartle: Hail Grand Fenwick!
Feb-28-09  BishopofBlunder: <whiteshark: <BishopofBlunder> No, I'm very sorry about that, but there has always been the Atlantic Ocean in between.>

That's ok. As the old saying goes, "You can pick your friends and you can pick your feet, but you can't pick your friend's feet."

BTW, if your curious about the origin of "picking your feet in Poughkeepsie", it's from <The French Connection>, starring Gene Hackman. His character, Popeye Doyle, keeps asking all the suspects that question. Much to my dismay, the movie fails to explain why...

Feb-28-09  technical draw: Urgent message from Margaret Cho:

"If you doan like TD joke then you gay. Only gay doan like TD joke."

Thank you Margaret. But a little reminder: I'm still waiting for the check for that last batch of jokes I sent you, he he.

Feb-28-09  Jim Bartle: I think that's the only Margaret Cho joke you could post at cg.
Feb-28-09  WhiteRook48: seems to me like this guy's game was a <technical loss>. :D
Mar-02-09  technical draw: Another Urgent Message from Margaret Cho:

<"If you beat TD chess that because you gay. Only gay beat TD chess">

Uh, thanks Marg but like I told you last time drop the gay jokes and stick to Mama jokes, you're losing your audience. (Remember what happened to Dick Gregory)

Mar-02-09  Whitehat1963: Does he play le football as well as le chess?
Mar-05-09  ILikeFruits: who is...

Mar-09-09  technical draw: Quit spamming my (alternate) forum! (unless you've payed up the $20 spamming tax).

Mar-09-09  technical draw: I like Spam. Actually I grew up on Spam. A Spam sandwich right now would be good..yum, yum...
Apr-19-09  WhiteRook48: A spam sandwich??
Apr-21-09  WhiteRook48: yes, and spam the internet with useless stuff.
Apr-23-09  WhiteRook48: I finally got my revenge on Little Chess Partner today!! I surprised it with a bishop sac on g6

I remember a Mad Magazine sendup of the movie. One character kept saying, "Yeah, but what's the connection?" Some years later, I finally saw the movie and had the same reaction.

May-27-12  sneaky pete: It's a bit silly that TD is so anxious on hiding particulars about his private life, when you can find his full biography on internet:
