Wilhelm Orbach (1894 – 1944) was a German chess master.

Im ganzen Deutschen Reich wurden die jüdischen Schachspieler vom organisierten Schach ausgeschlossen. Auch der Hessenmeister des Jahres 1925 Wilhelm Orbach aus Offenbach/M. wurde aus seinem Verein der Schachgesellschaft 1880 Offenbach/M. ausgeschlossen. Noch am 1.10.1932 hatte sich im Vereinslokal „Meister Orbach an der regen Besprechung beteiligt und führte einige typische Stellungen vor".

He was murdered in Auschwitz.
