Feb-18-07  GrandPatzerSCL: Where's BIDMONFA when you need him?? Don't know a thing about this dude.
Feb-18-07  brankat: Apparently, neither does BIDMONFA :-)
Feb-18-07  technical draw: Feb. 18 must be a slow day for grandmasters.
Feb-18-07  brankat: But not for Babies and Kittens :-)
Feb-18-07  DUS: BIDMONFA is off for the weekend (:

This dude is of Armenian nationality. Not only because of last name. Kamo is Armenian name too. Plays for Russia. Current FIDE rating is 2293. His card doesn't have more info.

Feb-18-07  argishti: ya, i was gunna say, kamo is an armenian name, ya, and he plays for russia, cause there is like 1 million armenians there or something.

Feb-18-10  asianwarrior: Surely, he is not an Asian.
Feb-18-10  whiteshark: Player of the Day

No rating movement since mid 2003 (gone underground?):

Phony Benoni: <whiteshark: No rating movement since mid 2003>

Probably inactive, but possibly just very consistent.

Feb-18-13  solskytz: I wonder if he will ever get a kibitz on a date other than February the eighteenth

(probably some wise guy will post here tomorrow though, or the day after...)

Feb-18-13  whiteshark: C'mon, Kamo, move!
Feb-18-13  Castleinthesky: What criteria are used for naming the player of the day, other than that the person has to be arguably a chess player?
Feb-18-13  Maatalkko: He appears to have quite tournament chess upon entering college. There's one thing he and I have in common. He may or may not speak English. Chances are slim that he will ever realize that he gets birthday props here due to an accident of the calendar.
