Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-28-13  nescio: In the Politiken Cup the organizers decided to give the lower rated players a chance to play against the grandmasters in the first rounds. This can be entertaining, but sometimes backfires.

Instead of taking this opportunity and playing to the best of his ability, Petersen, no doubt impressed by the reputation of his famous opponent, drifts into an inferior position in no time and then blunders a piece. I'm sure he can do better.
