Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-26-08  whiteshark: An ancestor of Domino ?
Aug-19-10  binno: Domenico=Sunday (male) in Italy
Aug-20-10  NakoSonorense: Uh, that would be "domenica"
Oct-21-14  francescodeluca1981: As week day, Domenica is Sunday.

It is also a name for female person, while Domenico is the name for male person.

Like general grammatical law, most (but not all) word ending with "a" vowel are for female gender name/adjectives, most (but not all) word ending with "o" vowel are for male gender name adjectives.

Finally, Domenica is only temporal period name for people, in Italy.

Apr-19-16  mulde: May be this is
Giovanni Domenico d'Arminio
but unfortunately, I feel unable to find more informations about him.
Jul-30-18  Nefarian: What is his last name?
Mar-31-22  Ziryab: Giovanni Domenico may have preceded Alessandro Salvio with the classic bishop sacrifice on h7. A game fragment with Bxh7+ is credited to him in the Doazan MS (a manuscript that has been lost, but which was copied in part by von der Lasa and others in the nineteenth century).
