(born 1955) Netherlands

Dutch computer scientist, docent, amateur chess player, author, and early computer chess programmer, author of the program IGM (I'm Going to be Mated), which competed in the Dutch Open Computer Chess Championship in 1981 and 1983, and the unofficial Dutch Championship Matches in 1979 and 1980. He wrote Schaken voor Computers (1987) considered to be a classic on the topic of computer chess.
