Oct-06-07  whiteshark: quote of the day:

<Chess is a matter of delicate judgment, knowing when to punch and how to duck.> --Fischer

Didn't work for him here...

Oct-06-07  Benzol: Wrong Fischer

:)

Oct-06-07  whiteshark: <Benzol < Wrong Fischer >> Of course it is!

But as Julius Caesar once said:

"I would rather be first in a small village in Gaul than second in command in Rome"

I will not write anything on the R.J.Fischer page. Let others feel that vocation.

btw: Did Bobby ever played cc chess ?

:D

<I will not write anything on the R.J.Fischer page. Let others feel that vocation.>

I don't blame you, I find the rehash of the same stuff constantly to be quite tiresome.

Don't know if Bobby ever played correspondence but given his work capacity regarding chess he could have.

Oct-06-07  whiteshark: <Benzol> I found only this corr game on the UltraCorr2006 database:

[Event "Golden Knights"]
[Date "1955.??.??"]
[White "Conger, A. Wayne"]
[Black "Fischer, Robert James (USA)"]
[Result "1-0"]
[ECO "E70"]
[EventType "corr"]

Oct-06-07  Benzol: <whiteshark> Thanks. I don't think I've seen that game before. Can you upload it and the other one you mention using the PGN upload facility.
Oct-06-07  whiteshark: <Benzol> uploaded the game.

Regarding the 'second corr' game: I posted it, including my doubts here: John C Knudsen, therefore no uploading from my side.

I appreciated our little dialogue here. Isn't it funny, what could happened, if you quote spontaneously and jokingly on the 'wrong' page ??

:D
