Dec-07-18  whiteshark: Soviet chess player , master of sports of the USSR (1964), coach.

The champion of Odessa (1935, 1936 and 1937). In the championship of the Ukrainian SSR in 1937, he shared the 3-4th place.

After demobilization in 1947 he moved to Saratov.

Champion DSO "Vodnik" (1949).

In the quarterfinals of the USSR championship (1950), he shared 2-3rd places with A.N. Koblenz.

Champion of Saratov (1956 and 1959).

In 1963, he won the qualifying match with the Leningrad master S. V. Khavsky with a score of 7½: 6½.

Champion DSO "Harvest" of the RSFSR (1968).

In recent years, he worked as a coach of the Saratov Regional Council DSO "Harvest."

Awards: Order of the Red Star (06/07/1945)

His grandson is Vasiliy Korchmar
