Oct-29-14  whiteshark: <Yuriy Privalov (1958-2007)> became a National Master at the age of 28. Later he was a chess trainer in the Lviv Chess School “Дебют” (“Opening”) where many of today’s Ukrainian Grandmasters have been raised.

Among Privalov’s students were top players GM Yuriy Kryvoruchko (2710), GM Anna Muzychuk (2548), GM Kateryna Lagno (2530), GM Nazar Firman (2459), IM Mariya Muzychuk (2526), WGM Liza Soloviova (2301).
