Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-26-22  Messiah: According to https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domen... he died in 1980. The biography entry is TERRIBLE, as it claims he is 117 old and still living.

I mean, on the page of Svetozar Gligoric it is correctly stated that <(born Feb-02-1923, died Aug-14-2012, 89 years old) Yugoslavia (federation/nationality Serbia)>, showing he was 89 years old when died. But here it is missing.

Blease correct it.

Dec-26-22  stone free or die: You must be bleased to see it updated, dod 1980.

Generally, the real <stone> (aka <stonehenge>) is the one who you want to bring such issues to. There's no question that <CG>'s biographical data is mostly in excellent shape because of his efforts.

The one lament I have though (and it's in my contract that I must have at least one), is that the biographical data is so sparely sourced.

In this particular case, the 1980 dod was fairly easy to find from the player's Italian wiki page:

https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domen...

It's not always so easy, and I'd encourage leaving a breadcrumb trail of reference sources in the posts as one goes along(*). I think that some very valuable sources, not generally known, would be revealed.

Remember, even great biographers one day have a dod, and it would be sad to see all their biographical secrets disappear with them.

* * * * *

(*) Preferred. In lieu of that level of detail, a general page of sources akin to <tab>'s page on newspaper sources would be nice.
