Sigismund Lurie was a medical student in Riga. In 1906 he scored +4-6=2 in a match against Aron Nimzowitsch. 1 He shared 1st with Rosenkrantz at the 4th Baltic Main tournament in Riga 1907, but lost the play-off game.2
