May-13-06  percyblakeney: I think they soon will change it to 0-1.
May-13-06  Kelvieto: Ke3 must win
May-13-06  percyblakeney: They just did, 0-1 now.
May-13-06  hitman84: This is crazy :)
May-13-06  madlydeeply: if white king can get to b1 before black can round up pawns and get to a2 or b2 itsa draw. I still don't believe it. grrrrr
May-13-06  alphavillee: 0-1 official!!! :)
May-13-06  Kelvieto: oh ok, they changed it to 0-1 that sounds right
May-13-06  madlydeeply: Cheezus whatta ride. Sorry I ever doubted you Kamsky!
May-13-06  hitman84: Great win by kamsky!

Damn!

Vishy's nemesis continues his domination!

May-13-06  TylerD: Phuh, thought I lost all my chess-sense there for a couple of seconds...
May-13-06  madlydeeply: I bet Kamsky might not have come back if Kasparov hadn't retired...I think Anand, Kamsky and Topalov have elevated their hopes and also their games since Kasparov quit.
May-13-06  Marmot PFL: Marvelously played ending by gata.
May-13-06  acirce: Fantastic - after three rounds it's clear that I, like many others, underestimated Kamsky, and I am VERY happy to admit it! I knew he would come back, but I didn't think it would be this soon. I just hope he won't start to tire or something later.
May-13-06  Caloy: Another fantastic endgame win by kamsky. Topa, you're next :)
May-13-06  s4life: <I think Anand, Kamsky and Topalov have elevated their hopes and also their games since Kasparov quit.>

Kamsky is just getting back to his true form. But I agree that it was probably Kasparov the reason he quit and the reason he came back...

May-13-06  TylerD: chessbond: fotunately you were wrong. A splendid win by Kamsky, a great game to follow live I think! He did it again! I will be following all of Kamsky s games from here on, I think played this one in a Karpov-like manner that was very, very impressive. I enjoy it even more since it was against the one player I do NOT want to see as the winner of this tournament...
May-13-06  Dionyseus: Grats to Kamsky, the cobra tamer.
May-13-06  VishyFan: I thought it is a draw.....
May-13-06  boz: Kamsky won't tire. He's too tough. All Ruy Lopez though. Watch for his oppenents to vary. But what will they do if he survivies into the end game?
May-13-06  Caloy: I thought 57. Ke3 is the winning move here not Ke5...

chancho: Two wins vs Anand in the two games they've played. Gata is definitely back.
May-13-06  VargPOD: <Caloy>, it is 57...Ke3, they corrected it just now. MTel computer team deserves to be shot...
May-13-06  MeatGrinder: Kamsky eats cobras for breakfast :)
May-13-06  Caloy: <VargPOD> Thanks! I was trying to find the winning line in Ke5 and couldn't find it.
May-13-06  boz: 52...Rd6 was the winning move, I think, but K must have forseen the position when he conceived the plan 48...Ke5...Kf6...f4.
