Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-04-07  amuralid: 35. Be6 is a nice intermediate move.
Apr-21-10  BobCrisp: From world champion to world atlas: http://www.librarything.com/work/69...
May-05-15  Blind Pigs: 35. Be6! What a brilliant move. I think Capa just saw moves like this as ordinary. The rest of us are left scratching our heads about you can see these ideas during a simul with only seconds per move.
May-05-15  Blind Pigs: Also interesting how Capa rejects the quotidian line 38. dxe8, Rxe8 39. Bd5, Rd8 40. Bxe4+ ( ) for the even more crushing 38. Bf5+
May-05-15  RookFile: You're right, 38. Bf5+ was best, and is crushing and incisive by Capa. He also rejects 38. Rc8 and white will win a rook vs. bishop endgame. Pretty lethal chess by Capa.
