Aage Kier was born in 1896. He was Danish Champion in 1913 and 1924. He also finished 1st= in 1926 but lost the play-off. He passed away in Copenhagen in 1941.

Well,if anybody Aage Kier should know about that. - Kier learned the game of chess during a trip to the USA,coming back to Denmark he was a strong player for some years,being the 1924 champion,but later on he got more interested in horse racing. - Here's a french game he played against Verner Nielsen
