Aug-05-20  thegoodanarchist: <Troller: <<<I can't imagine Biden finishing a 4 year term, so the stakes are already that high.>>>

You expect him to retire, or you expect his health to force him to do so?>

To quote Grand Moff Tarking, <You're far too trusting.>

His health is *already* compromised to the point he cannot fulfill the duties of the office. That is exactly the point of nominating him.

This is why the donor class forced out all the other candidates. They saw Biden is in cognitive decline and realized it is their golden opportunity to install a Black woman as president, by getting her on the ticket as veep and then removing the codger after innauguration.

So they forced all the other candidates out, and made them endorse Biden.

In summary, having a candidate whose health precludes him from serving out his term is not an accident. It is the plan.

Aug-05-20  thegoodanarchist: If you doubt this, ask yourself why would Tulsi Gabbard endorse this poor mental patient?
Aug-05-20  thegoodanarchist: And, why did Obama finally endorse him? I guess Barry is just enjoying Martha's Vineyard too much to ever give it up.

gezafan: The liberal media continues their disingenuous narrative against hydroxychloroquine, by continually proclaiming that it "doesn't work."

The treatment is hydroxychloroquine + zinc + antibiotic, which by the accounts of some doctors who've used it, apparently does work. Zelenko is an example.

Liberals won't even accept obvious truths. How do we get them to listen and think?

Aug-05-20  diceman: <gezafan: The liberal media continues their disingenuous narrative against hydroxychloroquine, by continually proclaiming that it "doesn't work." >

I heard Dr. Fauci holds a patent on a vaccine, maybe that's why he's not a hydroxychloroquine fan?

Aug-05-20  diceman: <I can't imagine Biden finishing a 4 year term>

What happens if he doesn't make it to inauguration?

Had to google:

<If a president-elect dies before assuming office, the Constitution’s 20th Amendment resolves this problem directly: The vice president-elect becomes president.>

Biden will be easy to get rid of.
(should he put up a fuss)
Just have someone show up with Covid-19
who was supposedly tested.

Wink, wink, nod, nod.

tpstar: <If Biden can’t get Michelle Obama then Call Girl Kamala is likely to be his pick. You’re right, it has nothing to do with qualifications and everything to do with race and gender.

The only problem is I think she called him a racist during the campaign back in February and March. The Republicans would use that for their TV commercial and play it over and over.>

I am perplexed by the liberal enthusiasm for Kamala Harris as VP, after she ran such a terrible campaign in the primaries. There were several instances where she just could not connect with voters, even in California, and her big "That little girl was me" moment came at Joe Biden's expense. I don't see her bringing more voters toward [D] besides those already committed. Full disclosure, I thought Tim Kaine was a bad choice in 2016. with virtually no national profile.

<Has Biden not announced that he is running for one term only?>

We have seen multiple references to Joe Biden as a "transitional" candidate, meaning keep it going for Democrats until someone younger comes along.

<It seems to me that right now US politics is in a kind of deadlock, where the division down the political spectrum has become so deep that no one wants to break party discipline. In that sense indeed all politicians are much more controlled by their party.

In my opinion the two-party system is very good for making things happen but in this particular situation it seems rather a hindrance than an asset. In a multi-party system some third party would come in and benefit from such a situation, in practise forcing everyone to try and come to agreements - or lose their influence.>

We have three groups of voters: Democrats, Republicans, and Independents (up to 40% in some places). Democrats are convinced that their BLM activism is bringing more to their cause, while Independents are watching the destruction with horror.

We've only heard yap, yap, yap, enthusiasm. With real voters, she was a bomb.

That said, she looks like a powerhouse, when your candidate is hiding in his basement.

So Trump has a good shot? Im worried about the polls and MSM 24/7 persecution on him.

Ultimately, cognitive dissonance works like this: When people are confronted with facts/data/reality that contradicts strongly held beliefs, they can either a) change their beliefs to conform to their newly acquired knowledge, or b) they can reject the new knowledge and cling to their beliefs.

Most people fall into category (b). But I am not like most people. never have been. My ultimate goal in the realm of learning is not to cling to what I believe is true, but to discover what I can know to be true. So I fall into (a).

And, whenever we get a new president, I always give him the benefit of the doubt. Even if I didn't vote for him, I reserve judgement so that I can make my judgement based on his track record.

And, I noticed that no one on the Left was doing that. Especially not in the Mainstream Media [MSM]. I noticed that they essentially went to war, immediately, to try to destroy Trump's presidency.

Any objective observer should have noticed that the MSM basically took it upon themselves to work with the Dems to illegitimize the election.

Around the same time (1 week before the 2016 election) I got red-pilled. I started to read a lot about intersexual dynamics and evolutionary psychology. Evo-psych, in a nutshell, refutes the foundation of both liberalism and feminism. Anyone who investigates game in the field, so to speak, will discover this.

Supposedly, feminism started organically with the Boomer generation, with the average Josephines of society rising up to demand their "rights". But now it is plain to see that feminism is actually promoted and forced upon society by various institutions, such as education, media and corporations.

We can see the same with race, with the institutions pushing and promoting BLM. I am old enough to remember when companies sought to comply with the law when it comes to non-discrimination.

Now they try to lead the agenda.

So I came to a big-picture understanding:

Our country's institutions were leading/pushing/trying to force:

1. The de legitimization of an election of an "old school" traditional American; 2. The de legitimization of societal norms that conform to human biology, in favor of norms like feminism that run counter to human biology (and that tear at the fabric of society); and now 3. The de legitimization of a group of people based solely on their skin color, white genocide, when all along they've been telling us we aren't supposed to judge based on skin color.

That's the long answer.

tl;dr:

The short answer is, the MSM tried to cancel out the election of Donald Trump, so it was obvious that they aren't following the <al wazir> model, where they try as best they can to be objective. Instead, they are pushing the agenda of the elites who own the media (and who own the politicians).

<Liberals won't even accept obvious truths. How do we get them to listen and think?>

You can't reason with them - they are brainwashed. The only thing that remains is to have fun, by asking them questions that highlight their inanity.

The Z Man had a good podcast about it:
