To understand that, one must have a grasp on the way in which people operate from their worldviews on both conscious and subconscious levels.

We have to realize the role that our <fundamental> worldview plays in politics and life.

If you give someone a very long arithmetic problem to solve and they make an error in the beginning, then no matter how well they calculate the rest of the problem, they will never arrive at the correct solution because the <fundamental> error is felt all the way through.

This ties into the current political dynamic.

We are in a state of hyper-partisanship not because of the media fanning the flames of division, which they do, but because the cultural divide is coming to a critical point. This cultural divide and maturation has become manifest in our political process. That is, our hyper-partisanship is a symptom of this cultural clash. It is not a symptom of a failed democracy, but a symptom of competing cultures, which themselves are representative of competing <worldviews>.

The strength of a societal worldview is the very glue that binds the culture together. Attack and subvert the worldview and the culture begins to unravel, bringing life to a new worldview and a new culture. Today, we see these worldviews coming to a head.

This election is about those two worldviews, as they each animate their respective holders to move and act accordingly.

The two worldviews are the Christian worldview, which is the tradition American and, to a larger extent, Western worldview, and the anti-Christian worldview which goes by many names, such as secularism and other such euphemisms.

Through this lens we can rightly understand the current situation and real fuel that feeds the fire of TDS.

A vote for Trump is a vote for Christianity and all of those horrible moral values that prevent the libs from enjoying homosexual activity, abortion, laziness and other such vices.

A vote for Biden is a vote for a post-Christian America where God is a dirty word, where they tell you a man is a woman if he feels like it and you need to acknowledge that or go to jail, where Christians need to bake the gay cake, where we teach the children that it's perfectly fine to kill the unborn child.

A vote for Trump is a vote that makes you get up and have to go to work, instead of being like <nok>, sitting on your duff and expecting the government to pay your way. A vote for Trump means you want to stigmatize sinful behavior (adultery, theft, looting, covetousness, debauchery, porn, drug use, drunkenness, sodomy, abortion, divorce, gluttony, promiscuity, out of wedlock birth, broken homes, fatherless children etc...) whereas a vote for Biden is a vote for a culture free of these shames, these stigmas, where one can be a complete loser and not have to hang his head in shame.
