| Feb-21-17 | | Nisjesram: <They reject almost everything I say.> They will reject everything I say too.
<am not seeking your knowledge, understanding or wisdom. You are seeking mine and if you're not then we have nothing to talk about> How many times have I already told you that I am not seeking your knowledge. I want some smart people to show holes in the theory that I am going to teach kids. <about this ,i am not wrong. I know what I know that I know> We disagree
<ou are not here to learn. You are here to demonstrate your knowledge to someone that you think can appreciate> You are not approval seeker , I am ? Right.
<
You can leave *kindergarten* <big pawn> alone and let him be the ignorant fool he is,> Ok |
|
| Feb-21-17 | | Big Pawn: <How many times have I already told you that I am not seeking your knowledge. I want some smart people to show holes in the theory that I am going to teach kids.> This is a contradiction. If you want me to show you where the holes are in your understanding of Christianity, then you want me to share my knowledge and understanding. Well, at any rate, good luck on your education. Have you thought about consulting with <johnlspouge> about this? He likes you and would probably help teach those kids you are talking about. Tell me, which do you value most, knowledge, understanding or wisdom? |
|
| Feb-21-17 | | diceman: <Nisjesram: OK, <big pawn> , one sentence with 10 words or less : <start>
<I am that I am> <end>
Five words.
That is what bible is all about . rest is all details.> I think you're getting the Bible mixed up with Popeye. <Popeye — 'I am what I am, and that's all that I am.'> |
|
| Feb-21-17 | | Big Pawn: <dice: I think you're getting the Bible mixed up with Popeye.> LOL!!! |
|
Feb-21-17
 | | OhioChessFan: What's the Bible about?
"Man's fall and God's plan to redeem him." |
|
| Feb-21-17 | | diceman: <OhioChessFan: What's the Bible about? "Man's fall and God's plan to redeem him."> MHEGA
Make heaven and earth great again! |
|
| Feb-21-17 | | diceman: <OhioChessFan: What's the Bible about? "Man's fall and God's plan to redeem him."> Why does it seem to be so indirect/unclear?
What I was getting at with this:
<I think most people would be shocked to hear that.> Most people think they know what "good/bad" is, but if most aren't going to heaven, they are obviously wrong. (even making adjustments for those lying to themselves) |
|
Feb-21-17
 | | OhioChessFan: <dice: Most people think they know what "good/bad" is, but if most aren't going to heaven, they are obviously wrong.> People don't love the truth. Just like the infamous "Alabama ID's aren't free", so people treat the Bible. In the first case, it's not the statutes that are unclear. Ditto the bible. |
|
| Feb-21-17 | | Nisjesram: <big pawn><this is a contradiction. If you want me to show you where the holes are in your understanding of Christianity, then you want me to share my knowledge and understanding> No. I don't want you to share your knowledge and understanding - that you have in limited supply as evidenced by you laughing with <diceman> enjiying the ignorance of <diceman> while considering it his wisdom with regards to <I am that I am> What I am seeking is your smartness - sharpness and clarity in general. Someone who has sharpness and clarity in general can find holes/contradiction even in something he hears for first time , something he knows nothing about before. Just like you know nothing about essence of bible otherwise you would know bible is all about <I am that I am> Answer of <ohiochessfan> is not bad either (redeem..) However. That would depend on interpretation. One interpretation may make that answer smart and other interpretation may make that kindergarten stuff. Consider this : there are a lot of very smart Christians who reject everything you say about bible. Why ? They have different interpretation of bible than yours ? Interesting . and I have different interpretation than theirs and yours and yours is right , mine wrong ? Hmm. Mine is of the level of Popeye? Hmm. How do you know ? <diceman> says so? Let me tell you what a very smart man said about standing alone against...well, you already know that conversation with regards to Israel being strong people. Please leave <johnlspouge> out of your conversation with me. I don't want to talk about him with you. That is respect. My respect for him I would not talk about you with certain other people either - <user not found> for example. That is respect. My respect for you. |
|
| Feb-21-17 | | Nisjesram: <diceman> , I have a feeling that you won't understand in a million years what bible is about and what <I am that I am > is about. Let us see - <big pawn> says 'I don't identify with any group -white, christian, american....I am just me myself'. A great statement at kindergarten level (you are below that level even , I suspect <diceman>). Let us see if we can go beyond kindergarten level - <I am me, myself> Hahaha. That even Popeye can say. Let alone Popeye, even <diceman> can say so. <I am just me , myself> Hahaha lol.
What is this 'me, myself'?. Are you body? Mind? Consciousness? Soul? And how do you know ? Because it is written in some scripture or you have had some way to have direct experience of your essence which you might say is timeless and neither matter nor energy but just 'spirit'? Who are you ?
Who am I?
I am that I am . I know it through direct experience. Kids like <diceman> will come up with some wisecrack - they have wit and smugness in place of depth of clarity and maturity. Immature people will join them in juvenile wisecracking while feeling smug :) You were right. Niceness is ....:) |
|
| Feb-21-17 | | Big Pawn: <nisjesram: No. I don't want you to share your knowledge and understanding - that you have in limited supply as evidenced by you laughing with <diceman> enjiying the ignorance of <diceman> while considering it his wisdom with regards to <I am that I am>> You don't want me to share my knowledge and understanding? Okay, then I can't tell you what is wrong with your theory. <What I am seeking is your smartness - sharpness and clarity in general> I know English is not your first language, but smartness implies knowledge and understanding. <Answer of <ohiochessfan> is not bad either (redeem..) However. That would depend on interpretation.> His answer is much closer to my answer but I like my answer even better. Yours clearly shows that you do not understand what the bible is about. I know you think you are correct and there is nothing I can or should do about it. <Please leave <johnlspouge> out of your conversation with me. I don't want to talk about him with you. That is respect. My respect for him> Who makes the rules in my forum? |
|
| Feb-21-17 | | Big Pawn: I could answer the question of what the bible is about in 3 words. Indeed, I could answer it in one word and not be vague. |
|
| Feb-21-17 | | Big Pawn: <Nisjesram: : <big pawn> you simply not getting anything. I want to learn smartness from you ?
I am smarter than you. In general. Not in every area.> Then you have perfect peace within? You are free from anger 100%? That's good! What are you doing here then?
<Nisjesram>, if you think for one moment that I was fooled with your flattery you've got another thing coming. You are not interested in any serious discussion and all that baloney about being humble and all that is an intellectual put on. I knew that what you really had inside you is, <Either deal with this statement or go play with <diceman>/Popeye and declare victory once again - you outsmarted <nisjesram> :)Don't you ever get tired of celebrating victory - you win so much. It is a curse. Well , I guess Jesus gives you strength to celebrate victory non stop as you score points for good against evil non stop :)> Therefore I exercised wisdom in not taking you seriously, asking you a question about the bible and having my suspicions confirmed with your subsequent replies. I am going to leave your foolishness here, not-deleted, on my forum. But any future comments will either be serious or they will be deleted. So if you come around talking about nonsense, I will copy and paste your comment to the <rogoff page> and delete it here. This space is only for serious inquiry aside from boxing or things like that. Well, I want to keep it that was best I can for the most part. Don't be angry and don't take my responses personally. Best of luck in your journey to the truth. |
|
| Feb-22-17 | | diceman: Heh, heh,
<Nisjesram:
with <diceman>> <know ? <diceman>> <even <diceman>> <like <diceman>> <suspect <diceman>> <of <diceman>> <Did <diceman>> <with <diceman>> "Nisjesram:" just another pretender. |
|
| Feb-22-17 | | Big Pawn: <Diceman: "Nisjesram:" just another pretender.> Dice, I thought you would find this interesting as it pertains to <nisjesram's> take on the bible. http://cdn2.hubspot.net/hub/153377/... |
|
| Feb-22-17 | | Big Pawn: You have talent <diceman> and you always manage to drag the liberal out of someone no matter how hard they try to conceal it. |
|

<Big Pawn: You have talent <diceman> and you always manage to drag the liberal out of someone no matter how hard they try to conceal it.> I am always amazed.
Their blather usaually leads to a joke by me, because I'm bored and want to turn a frown upside down. That leads to what I call, "The cockroach when the lights go on" reflex. What's amazing is how they are all the same. lil jiff used to repeat my name the same way when I made fun of his Blake. It's like there's some type of mind control center. |
|
| Feb-23-17 | | diceman: <OhioChessFan:
<dice: Most people think they know what "good/bad" is, but if most aren't going to heaven, they are obviously wrong.> People don't love the truth. Just like the infamous "Alabama ID's aren't free"> The mental illness of liberalism.
The "free" that destroys young lives, families, children, marriage, opportunity, liberty, individuality,
is missed. While the "free" that creates, responsibility, truth, standards, is "dangerous." We finally found a way for a liberal to be against government largesse. Make it a free Voter ID! |
|
| Feb-23-17 | | Big Pawn: <diceman: The mental illness of liberalism. > It's a spiritual illness that causes them to have disdain for the truth. Their brains work just like any other human brain, capable of reading and understanding basic truths. However, because they have rejected God they do not have God's spirit and so they can't see the truth. The lie seems true to them, so they do their best to rationalize the lie. All of the language that is contained in such rationalizations is what we know as liberalism. The intellect serves the purpose of the spirit and when the spirit if of the lie, rather than the truth, the intellect becomes a liar. |

The problem is, their active role in obfuscatioin, active role in deceit,
tells me they know exactly what they are.
It's hard to believe it's accidental. |
|
| Feb-24-17 | | Big Pawn: It's not accident, we agree. Sometimes I used to wonder what makes someone go liberal. When I thought I had the answer, I would ask "why" one more time and I was puzzled for a long time. But what I've come to realize is that the root cause of liberalism is spiritual. The spiritual nature of a person is causally prior to the intellectual nature. |
|
| Feb-24-17 | | diceman: <Big Pawn:
Sometimes I used to wonder what makes someone go liberal.> Problem is there are "different" liberals.
1)Liars, cowards, on the Rogoff page.
Their hate comes "free."
2)Those who "profit" like Obama/Clinton.
With Obama "mansion" shopping, I cant really compare him
with clowns on the Rogoff page.
He gets paid well to enslave/destroy American lives. 3)Lazy/part-time liberals.
The media calls them Trump/Democrats, Reagan/Democrats. They are probably actually Carter/Republicans, Obama/Republicans. They are lured by the "gutless" easy of liberalism.
The nice words like fair, Peace, equality.
The John Lennon "Give Peace a Chance" crowd.
While actually living conservatively,
they are too busy with life to work through all the
details.
(this is what most Democrats I actually know are) 4)The actual poor, victims, owned and used by government. 5)College indoctrinated.
The, "if you look at me, it's rape" crowd.
6)Elitist snobs like the Hollywood crowd.
Liberalism is probably used to assuage "rich" guilt. 7)One issue liberals.
They have something, like PETA, GreenPeace, whatever
that will make them support liberalism.
They don't care about much else.
Ironically, #4 are the only ones who actually live under liberalism. Liberals like their money, homes, SUVs.
Liberalism is always good for "other" people. |

Life is good.

|
| Feb-25-17 | | Big Pawn: Excellent interview! Thanks for sharing <tga>. I love his attitude and tone here, especially when he talked about civil rights and all that. Talking about bellyaching and holding everyone else to feel guilty and so on. Great video man. Thanks. |
