Jun-29-17  Big Pawn: DO NOT BE AN UNPROFITABLE SERVANT

Matthew 25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Jun-30-17  Big Pawn: < Richard Taylor: I see Big Pawn is still ranting on about terrorism. >

Do you people know who <richard taylor> really is? Read for yourself and decide.

<Richard Taylor: not only I, but millions of people enjoyed, and indeed hugely enjoyed, watching the towers come down...on that fascinating day, my son and I watched (albeit from different loci) the news from the US and it was on all day: it was, and remains, one of the most memorable and fascinating, exciting and enjoyable days of TV watching I have ever experienced.>

You think he's not a <terrorist sympathizer>?

He doesn't like me running his underwear up the flagpole like this, and complains to the admins that I'm attacking him, but I'm just copying and pasting his own words for all to see.

Here, check this out:

<I might be a bit extreme in belonging to the "Celebrate 9/11 Day Club" but wherever I go people tell (in confidence of course) how they admire my stance.> Queenstown Chess Classic (2012) (kibitz #12)

This guy, <richard taylor> isn't some nice old man that has a groucho marx avatar. He's like a Nazi, except that he hates America. You know how they would sometimes find these old Nazis in the 1990s and you'd see them on TV and think, hey, that's just some old man now. But then when you see the hate they have, you see past the "harmless old man" routine and see the evil.

Look here:

<I do admire Iran (and North Korea) though (considering the indignities the noble Arab people have had to suffer at the hands chewing gum chewing sodomitic Yanks) and hope they soon get nuclear strike capability and wipe out the US entirely.> Queenstown Chess Classic (2012)

He gets wood without viagra when he starts to fantasize about wiping out America.

You know, when he's drinking, it all comes out.

<Fiery and terribly painful extermination of all US citizens is my dearest wish...> Queenstown Chess Classic (2012) (kibitz #13)

He asked the admins to censor me, because he is embarrassed by his own hatred, but these are his words and he is old enough to be accountable for them.

This is what free speech is all about. He gets to say what he wants, and if <richard taylor> wants to be a terrorist sympathizer and America hater, he can be, but he can't have it both ways and demand that my free speech which criticizes his free speech needs to be censored.

Jul-01-17  Benzol: <Do you people know who <richard taylor> really is?>

Yes

<You think he's not a <terrorist sympathizer>?>

No

<You know, when he's drinking, it all comes out.>

So far as I know Richard doesn't drink.

:)

Jul-01-17  Big Pawn: <Benzol: <You think he's not a <terrorist sympathizer>?>

No>

You come to my forum to be dishonest? Look at this statement:

<<Richard Taylor: not only I, but millions of people enjoyed, and indeed hugely enjoyed, watching the towers come down...on that fascinating day, my son and I watched (albeit from different loci) the news from the US and it was on all day: it was, and remains, one of the most memorable and fascinating, exciting and enjoyable days of TV watching I have ever experienced.>>

Does this statement show that <richard taylor> sympathizes with the USA over 911 or with the <terrorists>?

Jul-01-17  Benzol: <You come to my forum to be dishonest?>

No.

<Does this statement show that <richard taylor> sympathizes with the USA over 911 or with the <terrorists>?>

It shows that Richard found the event to be memorable and fascinating not that he sympathizes with either the USA or terrorists.

Jul-01-17  User not found: <Keyser Soze: no problemo, seestah>

I suppose it's an improvement on "The chick from Korea!" but I still cringed for you.. Seestah? LMAO 😂 😂 😂

Jul-01-17  diceman: <Benzol:

You conveniently forgot this Benzol:

<Richard Taylor: not only I, but millions of people enjoyed, and indeed hugely enjoyed, watching the towers come down...>

Jul-01-17  Big Pawn: <Benzol> He found it enjoyable, not just "fascinating" or "memorable".

<it was, and remains, one of the most memorable and fascinating, exciting and enjoyable days of TV watching I have ever experienced.>

That means he did not sympathize with the Americans but rather with the terrorists.

That's why <Richard Taylor> is a <terrorist sympathizer>.

You can't unspeak his words or defend them. He found 911 enjoyable, like the terrorists.

Jul-01-17  User not found: If Dickie Taylor <genuinely> said that about 9/11 then he's gone down in my estimations, I always thought him a decent bloke. It's like singing "London bridge is falling down" when a mental Muzzie starts playing Grand Theft Auto with real Londoners... Only a simpleton would do such a despicable thing :)
Jul-02-17  Benzol: I certainly can't unspeak his words though I do know that he sometimes says things just to get a rise out of someone. I can't defend those words but I can defend him and from what I know of him he is not a terrorist sympathizer and is a decent human being.
Jul-02-17  SugarDom: How can anybody rejoice in the killing of small children on 911.

Taylor is plain evil.

Jul-02-17  playground player: Hard to believe that even a liberal could sink that low. But as Claudius said of Caligula, "Believe it... believe it..."

For the folks on the Loving Left, who love humankind so much they could just kiss themselves all over, there really is no bottom.

Jul-02-17  Robed.Bishop: Who knew that Caligula was a liberal?

I'm afraid your personal attestation does not measure up to the evidence here. Feel free to continue to deny it though.

Jul-02-17  Benzol: <I'm afraid your personal attestation does not measure up to the evidence here. Feel free to continue to deny it though.>

My personal attestation is based on a bit more knowledge of the man than you have and not just on a few meagre posts at this site. For you it's like having a jigsaw puzzle without all the pieces and not knowing what the full picture looks like.

There is more to you than just what is posted on the Kenneth Rogoff page. There you come across as a narrow-minded bigot. However, I feel sure that in reality that is not so. Feel free to prove me wrong.

  jessicafischerqueen:

I also like <Richard Taylor>, though we've had plenty of acrimonious fights over the years. Like <Benzol>, I am sure he isn't a terrorist sympathizer.

There is something else- when <Richard> first mentioned that <911> made for an enjoyable TV experience, he was explicitly referencing the postmodern philosophical theory of <Jean Baudrillard>, and in particular his notion of <The Evil Demon of Images>. He explicitly mentioned <Baurdrillard> in the posts you folks are seizing on.

<Baudrillard> controversially claimed that on the level of personal experience, people no longer made any real distinction between fictional TV and "real" TV news. He used this example- he said the most viewers made no meaningful distinction between viewing <The China Syndrome> (a movie) and viewing news reports on <Three Mile Island> (an actual disaster).

This was meant to be at least partially tongue in cheek, or ironic. It was an exaggeration to prove a point about how uncritically "postmodern man" absorbs media, or the "Evil Demons of Images."

<Baudrillard> got raked over the coals by fellow philosophers for this- they accused him of being "immoral." I don't think he was.

And I know <Richard Taylor> isn't immoral, or at least he's shown no sign of that to me at cg.com.

He's certainly no terrorist sympathizer. In my opinion, you guys throw that term around too loosely at cg.com altogether- <Jim Bartle> as a terrorist sympathizer?

lol

No.

Jul-02-17  Big Pawn: <My personal attestation is based on a bit more knowledge of the man than you have and not just on a few meagre posts at this site.>

His posts are evidence. Your opinion is not.

Jul-02-17  Big Pawn: <Richard Taylor: I do admire Iran (and North Korea) though (considering the indignities the noble Arab people have had to suffer at the hands chewing gum chewing sodomitic Yanks) and hope they soon get nuclear strike capability and wipe out the US entirely.> Queenstown Chess Classic (2012)>

Yeah...this is just "comedy".

Jul-02-17  Big Pawn: Your post was deleted because it's got no substance. Troll elsewhere
Jul-03-17  Benzol: <His posts are evidence. Your opinion is not.>

Not opinion but fact.

<Richard Taylor:> <re <Benzol - he is in hospital tonight (at last report) with suspected appendicitis - I hope he is ok - I'll phone his father in the morning - Peter. Peter is very gentle and kindly man. Paul's a good sort also - he was around at my place a week ago on Sunday and we looked at some games. E.g. We looked at Roger Clarke - Rodney Philips played in 1963! He borrowed some old NZ Chess Mags I had... I hope he is ok.>

I hope this balances the picture a little.

Jul-03-17  thegoodanarchist: I went over to <Richard Taylor>'s forum, to see first-hand what this kindly old man writes. Here is something from February 8th of this year:

<Feb-08-17
Premium Chessgames Member Richard Taylor:

Hi Octavia. The price of housing has risen throughout NZ. There are a number of factors, more people, general inflation and a housing shortage. <<And those of the Bourgeoisie who simply have too much money.>> It's not a new thing though. I am keeping hold of my own house.

I don't think anyone seriously thinks there will be a nuclear war. NZ wont necessarily be safe as we and Australian are allies of the UK and the USA. So we are targets. But perhaps not nuclear.

...

The NZ Government are supposedly funding more housing. They are a bit slow so one suspects some of them are in league with overseas billionaires. But speculators come from everywhere.

<<The answer is a world wide revolution so we can exterminate such as Big Pawn and his mates and all the rich bastards on this earth.>> <<<Peoples' incomes need to be limited.>>> That applies to pop stars and singers film actors and others...they all get paid too much.

Workers of the world, unite! As Marx wrote. >

Richard Taylor chessforum (kibitz #3046)

So, people should not be allowed to get ahead in life. If your music gives people enjoyment in life, and they pay you for it, you need to have that money taken away.

And if you think differently than Richard, well then, you should be exterminated. If you are rich, then automatically you are a bastard and should be exterminated.

Ugh.

Jul-03-17  thegoodanarchist: And also this:

<So the world has a madman in charge of the "greatest" crap house in the world called the US, >

<Richard Taylor> is mostly rude and insulting, and makes sweeping stereotypes. I doubt he's ever seen much of the US. What a jerk.

Jul-03-17  playground player: What a putz.
Jul-03-17  User not found: Seeing as you deleted my post about you being worse than Dickie T (even though you don't censor people!) I saw this and thought of you https://cdn.meme.am/cache/instances...
