What we are seeing here is pure tyranny. These are the same left wing brown-shirts that showed up at the Trump rallies to cause violence and hope the media would pick it up as "Trump violence". These are the same liberal Brown Shirts that make it so unsafe for a conservative speaker to speak on campus, that they actually have to cancel their speaking engagements.

These are the same liberal brown shirts that are throwing molotov cocktail bombs at "protests".

These are the same liberal brown shirts that are breaking glass, burning cars and looting in cities across America.

These are the same liberal brown shirts that show up to every "protest" armed with bats, molotov cocktails, frozen coke cans and even bicycle locks with which to beat and assault the people on the right.

Of course, Obama invited the BLM contingent of this group to the white house, unlike Trump, who denounced violence on all sides (not just the other side, like Obama).

So now the liberal brown shirts have the media ignoring all that they do, while spotlighting the incident in Charlottesville and using it as an excuse to label all those on the right as Nazis, label them a terrorist organization and double bolt lock their freedom of speech.

Brown shirts are winning, and the irony is that THEY are calling their victims brown shirts!

The key to this all is the media. They are the ones that pick up the narratives and then run with them, defining the issues. Thankfully, we have social media to make it harder for them.

The left showed up in VA to look for violence, as they were armed and came to attack, just like they do at every other event that they crash. This is why they wear black masks.

The real problem in the country are these commie, black mask wearing, molotov cocktail throwing, freedom of speech killing, anti-American, anti-white, anti-man and anti-Christian, subversive socialist fascists.

Businessmen responded by trying to prove that the plight of minorities was important to them too, and started donating to liberal charities. According to Mr. Hayden’s 1962 “Port Huron Statement,” the manifesto of this movement, the radicals espoused “generosity of a kind that imprints one’s unique individual qualities in the relation to other men, and to all human activity.”

What better objects of generosity than those groups who were furthest from the mainstream: non-whites, homosexuals, criminals, and deviates of all kinds? Just as Jesus demonstrated his purity by consorting with prostitutes and publicans, the New Left would outcompete all others in altruism by claiming, at any rate, to care the most about people for whom the moneyed classes appeared to care the least.

Capitalism was, of course, the very antithesis of generosity, and the New Left initiated the anti-corporate campaign that has become a permanent feature of the political landscape. They founded groups like Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), the Institute for Policy Studies, the Economic Research and Action Project, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), and the Interfaith Center for Corporate Responsibility. <“They had found a leader, Robert E. Lee — and what a leader! . . . No military leader since Napoleon has aroused such enthusiastic devotion among troops as did Lee when he reviewed them on his horse Traveller.”

So wrote Samuel Eliot Morison in his magisterial “The Oxford History of the American People” in 1965.

First in his class at West Point, hero of the Mexican War, Lee was the man to whom President Lincoln turned to lead his army. But when Virginia seceded, Lee would not lift up his sword against his own people, and chose to defend his home state rather than wage war upon her.

This veneration of Lee, wrote Richard Weaver, “appears in the saying attributed to a Confederate soldier, ‘The rest of us may have . . . descended from monkeys, but it took a God to make Marse Robert.'”

Growing up after World War II, this was accepted history.

Yet, on the militant left today, the name Lee evokes raw hatred and howls of “racist and traitor.” A clamor has arisen to have all statues of him and all Confederate soldiers and statesmen pulled down from their pedestals and put in museums or tossed onto trash piles.

What has changed since 1965?

It is not history. There have been no great new discoveries about Lee.>

<McAuliffe is echoed by Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam, the Democratic candidate in November to succeed McAuliffe. GOP nominee Ed Gillespie wants Monument Avenue left alone.

The election is the place to decide this, but the left will not wait.

There are countless universities, colleges and high schools like Washington & Lee named for Confederate statesmen and soldiers. Across the Potomac from D.C. are Jefferson Davis Highway and Leesburg Pike to Leesburg itself, 25 miles north. Are all highways, streets, towns and counties named for Confederates to be renamed? What about Fort Bragg?

On every Civil War battlefield, there are monuments to the Southern fallen. Gettysburg has hundreds of memorials, statues and markers. But if, as the left insists we accept, the Confederates were traitors trying to tear America apart to preserve an evil system, upon what ground do Democrats stand to resist the radical left’s demands?

What do we do with those battlefields where Confederates were victorious: Bull Run, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville?

“Where does this all end?” President Trump asked.

It doesn’t. Not until America’s histories and biographies are burned and new texts written to Nazify Lee, Jackson, Davis and all the rest, will a newly indoctrinated generation of Americans accede to this demand to tear down and destroy what their fathers cherished.

And once all the Confederates are gone, one must begin with the explorers, and then the slave owners like Presidents Washington, Jefferson and Madison, who seceded from slave-free Britain. White supremacists all.

Andrew Jackson, Henry Clay of Kentucky and John Calhoun must swiftly follow.

Then there are all those segregationists. From 1865 to 1965, virtually all of the great Southern senators were white supremacists.

In the first half of the 20th century, Woodrow Wilson and FDR carried all 11 states of a rigidly segregationist South all six times they ran, and FDR rewarded Dixie by putting a Klansman on the Supreme Court.

While easy for Republicans to wash their hands of such odious elements as Nazis in Charlottesville, will they take up the defense of the monuments and statues that have defined our history, or capitulate to the icon-smashers?

<Baked Alaska, one of the men scheduled to speak in Charlottesville yesterday, was sprayed with what might have been some kind of acid yesterday, and is still in the hospital now, according to a statement from his guy Matthew.

We’ve not heard any further details about that, but I thought it was important to give an update here, since the media is not reporting on it at all. If he’s still in the hospital today, it was definitely something other than mace.

Matthew said that Baked Alaska may be suffering permanent eye damage because he can only see about 3 feet in front of him. Though that doesn’t necessarily mean he will have permanent damage. Hopefully he’s okay.

By 1 p.m., the handful of rally attendees had left the Boston Common pavillion, concluding their event without the planned speeches. A victorious cheer went up among the counterprotesters, as many began to leave. Hundreds of others danced in circles and sang, “Hey hey, ho ho. White supremacy has got to go.”>

Once again, the left has successfully killed free speech. The liberals are very happy that free speech is not allowed to live, unless they agree with it.
