Aug-29-15  MarkFinan: <<Mark>, are you keeping track of any suspicious users? ;)

Uh, I think <cg> does a check at the end of every leg, so it shouldn't be a problem. But I guess it can't hurt to do one now.>

Well I'll tell you up front now, and if Ceegee moan at me then they moan. I'm going to use my other handle and start all over again from 1000. There's a fault in this game when I can't get a loan yet people with - 50000 can. So I'm gonna play using my other handle and cope with the consequences. It isn't like I haven't been mentioning this all week.

And just in case I look like qualifying... I'll put it all on a BBB ticket.

Aug-29-15  sydbarrett: No like today's bets. My prognosticated choices all have low payoffs.
Aug-29-15  sydbarrett: bet 200 on "other" (Aronian's first move). when other started getting too much action, I switched my bet by placing 800 on "d4." Never going against first instincts again, ha ha. But I got money to burn.

  FSR: Carlsen and Aronian drew.

Penguincw: < For example, if Vachier-Lagrave and Nakamura both win, and Aronian - Carlsen is drawn, "White-Black-Draw" will pay. >

That moment when "White-Black-Draw" ends up paying. :D Not the first time though.

So how were the stock market guys?

BTW: Give me some time to come up with the next round's bet. I might go into double digits...

Aug-29-15  sydbarrett: How was the market for me? I already gave up on my So-So bet. Sunk costs. I bet on Naka, MVL and Grischuk. Really hoping Grischuk converts his position to a win, that will be my best bet of the day. I did bet on draw on the last two, but in general, I have a feeling lots of people lost cash, including those who like to bet on draw. Fred? Did I just describe you?

FSR: How much do you have now, Syd? You tell me what you have and I'll tell you what I have.
Aug-29-15  sydbarrett: Whatever you have, I probably have 1000-2000 more. Find out tomorrow
Aug-29-15  MarkFinan: <SETTLEMENT DATE: Aug-29-15

Sinquefield Cup Rd 6: Pick Three

YOU WIN! COLLECT 984 30c$
[cash in ticket]>

Well that's one of the bets I wouldn't have had, I believe there's a conspiracy against me at the bookies because of my exceptional forecasting. And I would have normally had 50 on that so I'd have made around 1500! I think Fred's presence is affecting my judgement.

Aug-29-15  MarkFinan: *would have!! Gotta stop speak typing, no one wants to go inside my mind, lol.
Aug-29-15  sydbarrett: Wb Mr. Lennon...

FSR: The site should really update the standings every day at, say, 8 P.M. It's annoying having to wait so long to find out the current standings.
Aug-29-15  sydbarrett: Well friend, I just showed my Grischuk ticket. I already have mentioned that I rightfully took a blow when I went against instinct and reversed my "First move" bet. I had a piece of the pick three... enough to keep other greedy goblins from taking too much

That leaves my remaining 4 bets. So the question becomes, is Syd Barrett a loser, or is he a great WINNER and a legend? Take a guess sweetie

Aug-29-15  sydbarrett: You sound insecure, my favorite pudgy bespectacled cutie. If you think that you are a match for me, you wouldn't need constant updates to confirm it. I think that's because you realize who your master is.

<sydbarrett: ... Take a guess sweetie>

Please desist with the sexual advances. I don't swing that way.

<Justin Flint> Those numbers are out of date. I'm much higher than that now, and maybe Syd is too.

Aug-29-15  sydbarrett: Are you sure you don't?? You sound like you want to convince yourself of that more than you want to convince me... See you tomorrow...
Aug-30-15  MarkFinan: <sydbarrett: You sound insecure, my favorite pudgy bespectacled cutie>

I really shouldn't laugh but LOL. 1-0 to Syd-B.

<Please desist with the sexual advances. I don't swing that way.

<Justin Flint> Those numbers are out of date. I'm much higher than that now, and maybe Syd is too.>

Whooaaaa! Fred fires back. Or should I say, "Fire back Fred did" and plagiarise my favourite little green alien. Lol.

Aug-30-15  sydbarrett: Lazy Sunday morning. Tried some new betting strategies. Am I thinking too hard and not trusting the Force enough this time? Shall see how it goes. Will be interesting. I think I needed to do it to see if there are better betting styles. I contradicted myself on different bets. The madness of it is that I don't know what I'm rooting for anymore, lol... But I stand by my decision regardless of outcome.
Aug-30-15  sydbarrett: Fred bid his entire fortune on Carlsen. Someone send an ambulance to his house, fast...

Penguincw: <Mark>, I've paid off the Sinquefield Cup: So-So Result bet early, since So can not finish with more than 4 points. Will this get you back some of your cbs (I don't think you said you bet on this though)?
