Jun-27-10  technical draw: I wonder what's worse, coming in last or coming in 11th? (sorry Pyke).
Jun-28-10  Boratco: Yesterday, I took a 4k loan from the loanshark, today he tagged me with 40 bucks interest.:D)
Jun-28-10  wordfunph: <TD> i prefer to be 11th though it hurts.. :)

<Boratco> it happened to me before, just ignore it anyway the leg is over and we all start at $1k for the Spring Leg.

Jun-29-10  SugarDom: TD is such a loser that in the Loser Olympics he got only silver... :)

eternaloptimist: When r we going to get a chance to bet on something? There r some tournaments going on right now.
Jul-06-10  edsauced: I suppose the next season starts with Dortmund (starts July 15) and Biel (starts july 17). Pamplona (starting in 24 july) could be included too.

Chessgames Bookie: The Summer Leg has officially begun. We'll be placing wagers online shortly.

Friendly warning for newcomers: Don't spend your entire wad on the long-term wagers we're about to add; if you do that you'll have to wait weeks before your bets are resolved.

Jul-06-10  wordfunph: thanks <CGB>..

good luck to all my bookie classmates!

WannaBe: Great, can't wait to see if I can finish behind <technical draw>, again...
Jul-06-10  Boratco: Not a bad performance for someone who started half of the leg. Let's see if I can top the list this time. My goal, be the winner of either each end.
Jul-06-10  wordfunph: <Boratco: My goal, be the winner of either each end.>

<Boratco> <TD> i'll give you a good fight for the tail-end race.. :o)

Jul-08-10  bharatiy: settlement date for Biel winner is already over. <Cb> you should settle those bets!! :-)
Jul-08-10  bluejay: For the Biel Winner event there is a "bet closes date of Jul 17" and a "settlement date of Jul 06" Is this correct?

BTW - kudos for all the work you do on this feature!

Jul-08-10  wordfunph: <bharatiy> good eyes! :)

our friend <CGBookie> erred...excitement produces mistakes. :-)

WannaBe: Miami Heat, winning the 2010-2011 NBA Championship 1-10,000. Every body else in the league 5-1.
Jul-09-10  Boratco: I'll throw a buck on the Heat, what the heck, if the other teams are like Tiger Wood, they are all bound to be "Tiger got Woods'.
Jul-10-10  wordfunph: <52. Chess Gambler 990.>

hmmmm...early <loanshark>'s customer. :)

Jul-10-10  bumpmobile: Whooooo Hoooo! I'm listed as third in the Chessbookie standings! That's the highest I've ever been by about 50 places!
Jul-10-10  wordfunph: <bumpmobile> enjoy the sweetness of being in top three for awhile.. :)
Jul-11-10  refutor: i like the perfecta...there's 1613:1 odds on the board as of right now :)
Jul-12-10  wordfunph: <CG Bookie> may i know your basis of ranking? i wish to see my handle holding the #1 spot overnight.. :)

thanks and more power!

Jul-14-10  edsauced: Why the Biel tournament winner closes on 17-July? The festival starts in that date, but the GM tournament starts on 19-July. I know, not a big deal, but knowing the schedule (and number of whites) of each player may be important before betting.
