<Chessgames Bookie> and <all> thanks for the wonderful contest, see you all in the next leg..

Mar-25-11  AnimusEtOblivio: Oh gosh, I cannot believe how that last round turned out. I wish it was skill, but I have to admit that was mostly luck. 5/6 bets paid out, and the Carlsen Rapid match in the last round had a crazy payout 14k for a 4k bet... the odds were just too good.

Congrats to everyone on a crazy and fun leg. Amber makes for an exciting and unpredictable finish, where virtually anything can happen in the last week.

Thanks to ChessGames for their hard work maintaining the quality ChessBookie feature. I look forward to see you all in the next leg! Best wishes.

Mar-25-11  technical draw: Congratulations <Animus>! Now I know who was making all those giant bets towards the end. This proves once again that "it ain't over til it's over!". Congratulations to <Midas Touch> and <Touch of Knight> for a great final.
Mar-25-11  Touch of Knight: <AnimusEtOblivio> Congratulations! I thought this was the year of Touch, but you proved it otherwise. Well done!

eternaloptimist: Congrats to the top 10 & especially to <Animus> & the <2 Touches> who provided us w/ an exciting finish. As <TD> already stated this proves that "it ain't over 'til it's over"! <Animus> I admire u for your tremendous will to win. That was an amazing run on the last day of this leg to pull out the win regardless of whether it was mostly luck or not!
Mar-25-11  4tmac: Thank you CGBookie! I'm touched. (ask anybody ;)) - Congrats to top 10 (& bottom 10 :)) and thanks to all for another interesting round & <Good Luck> in the Spring!
Mar-25-11  Boratco: Animus, congrats, those are my cbucks you took on the last inning. All the big bets were all mine. Oh well, somebody got to win. See you all next leg.
Mar-25-11  refutor: thanks a lot chessgames.com
Mar-25-11  AnimusEtOblivio: <Touch of Knight> Congratulations to you to! You played fantastically this round, as did <Midas Touch>. The <Touches> are a formidable force, and I look forward to losing to you both next leg.

<TD> Well, I only made one huge bet (10k on Magnus in round 10). Other than that, I made six bets between 3-4k in the last round—all of which, I was fairly confident in.

<eternaloptimist> Thanks. I look forward to seeing you in the top 10 next leg!

<Boratco> Well, thanks for padding that last round for me :p. It honestly could have gone either way. I just felt confident enough in my bets that I would stay in the top 10, so I put down enough money to have a shot at 1st.
