|
| Apr-03-11 | | AnimusEtOblivio: Ah, it is so difficult to make bets on these games, since I know so little about Chinese players.
Half of me says to just wait for a super GM tournament, while the other half needs its fix of ChessBookie, and it needs it now! |
|
| Apr-04-11 | | wordfunph: <Animus> <bookie mates> hope this may help.. http://www.chess.co.uk/twic/chessne... |

 | | Penguincw: < Here are some of mine
-Forfeit or not
-Amount of time on clock after the game
-Most surprising upset >
Let me just explain.
-Forfeit or not
This would be a bet for the amount of the forfeits. This includes losing on time, cellphone rings, etc. It will probably be for the whole tournament.I think this bet would best work on tournaments with faster time controls since there will be more time forfeits. Some possible outcomes could be 0, 1-5, 6-10, 11-20, all, etc. e.g.
Round 1,2 forfeits
Round 2,0 forfeits
Round 3,1 forfeit
Round 4,0 forfeit
Round 5,3 forfeits
5-10 forfeits would be the winning ticket.
-Amount of time on clock after the game
Well that should be pretty straight forward. It could be for one or both of the players time.It could even be the combined time. Some possible outcomes could be 0:00:00, 0:00:01-0:01:00, 0:01:01-0:05:00, 0:05:01-0:20:00, 0:20:01-0:30:00, 0:30:01-1:00:00, 1:00:00 or more. Player A 0:00:03
Player B 1:45:56
1:00:00 or more would win if it was for both players. -Most surprise upset
Or more likely, most surprising result.Which one is the least likely to happen. The outcomes would be the games in the round. For example, Van-Wely vs. Anand 1/2-1/2
Giri vs. Gashimov 1/2-1/2
Carlsen vs. Gelfand 0-1
Kramnik vs. Aronian 1-0
Topalov vs. Nakamura 1/2-1/2
Carlsen vs. Gelfand would probably be the biggest upset (at least for Carlsen fans). I hope people will understand this and maybe it could be in future bets. :) |
