  chessgames.com: We reversed the payoff for US Championship: Rd 7: Finegold vs Shabalov. Although multiple sources indicate that the results was 1-0, it's clear that Shabalov won.
Apr-22-11  technical draw: <Wallytherhino> is in the lead but that's only because he has a real gambler's name.
Apr-22-11  bharatiy: what next?
Apr-22-11  bharatiy: why not we bet on playoff today?
Apr-22-11  blazemaster: r premium memberships given out to the winners of the legs?
Apr-22-11  blazemaster: and also when does this leg end? thank you whoever answers my quests
Apr-22-11  wordfunph: <blaze> leg started April 1st week and about to end around June.
Apr-22-11  blazemaster: what about my first question?
Apr-22-11  wordfunph: <blaze> one year premium membership is only given to:

+ the Champion of Spring / Summer / Fall legs

+ the top 10 of Winter Championship leg

good luck my fellow bookie classmate <blazemaster>..

Apr-22-11  blazemaster: thank you wordfunph
Apr-23-11  WinKing: C'mon <C'Bookie> open up the betting for the semifinals of the U.S. Open. I'm jonesin' to lay some chessbucks down on these four great match-ups. Probably too late now. :(

<Kamsky-Shankland>
<Shulman-Hess>

<Krush-Zatonskih>
<Baginskaite-Abrahamyan>

Pretty sure I have the match-ups correct but I'm not sure who has what colors in these games. Three of the four matches feature youth vs. experience. Doesn't get any better.

Apr-26-11  Boratco: huhuhu, not fair, I'm tellin', loanshark keep charging me interest daily and there's no games to bet on. I'm going to tell Al Capone so he can get his shares. :(
Apr-26-11  technical draw: <Boratco> He, he, he... I paid back all my loans just before the lull. You gotta think ahead like in a certain game played on a board.
Apr-26-11  WinKing: Might as well do some laundry while were all waiting to get some action around here.

Apr-27-11  WinKing: Thanks for giving us some action <Chessgames Bookie> on the deciding game for the U.S. Championship! :)

  chessgames.com: Sorry about the lapse in betting--the Chess Bookie had to leave town for a few days, we'll try to put up a few bets on current events until he gets back.
Apr-27-11  AnimusEtOblivio: Thanks <CG> , we know that this fantastic feature takes effort, and we appreciate the effort on your part. I hope the Bookie enjoys his time off.

After a few rounds of mixed results, I think the US Chess Championship was good for my wallet.

Apr-27-11  wordfunph: <CG> thanks, we appreciate.

<guys> Shulman-Kamsky was a bonus for us, they exchanged pieces and a truce as expected. A decent stand by Yuri to end the match at 1.5-0.5, congrats Gata!

regrets i didn't bet for the max $500..

May-05-11  Christochess: Hello together I am here on chessgaems.com full member since a few weeks. I recognized that, gambling is here without risk and without real money. But what happens if the 1000 chessubcks I have are away, can I start new or have I to wait until I buy a new membership of chessgames.com?
May-05-11  SloVice: <Christochess>
The Chessbookie game is available to both regular and premium members. In fact, winners of each leg are offered free premium memberships for up to a year.

Don't worry about your 1000cb. Bet however you wish. At the start of a new leg, all debts are forgiven and you will be given a new 1000cb to start. It's a good thing too, since I am currently solidly in last place. I just can't seem to place a winning bet.

May-06-11  wordfunph: <Christochess: But what happens if the 1000 chessubcks I have are away, can I start new or have I to wait until I buy a new membership of chessgames.com?>

<Chris> you can borrow chessbucks from our bestfriend <Loanshark>.

<Slovice> come on mate, leg may be over by June and it's still a long shot. You have all the chance to make it to the top. Fight <SloVice>!

May-06-11  chesssantosh: is it possible to take additional loan before paying older one.i desperately need some chessbucks but i already owe to loanshark.when i visit him he only talks about repaying that loan instead of lending another one
May-06-11  wordfunph: <chesssantosh: is it possible to take additional loan before paying older one.>

<chesssantosh>
yes, try another day and loanshark will grant your loan.
